This year's Spring Garden
Tour, "TOWN AND COUNTRY GARDENS OF THE WIREGRASS",
has been set for May 3-4. More than just
a garden tour, this event begins on
Thursday evening, May 1st at 6:30 PM with the Patron's Party at Wallace and
Luke Cooley's Barn. This party, featuring the music of DOUBLE TROUBLE,
a silent auction and a live auction conducted by Jim Parkman, promises to be
an evening full of food, fun and fellowship. Tickets are $50 per
person which includes a garden tour ticket.
On Friday, May 2nd a gardening seminar will be
presented by
Larry Quick, Executive Director of Aldridge Botanical Gardens
in Hoover, Alabama. The seminar will begin at 10:00 AM at
the Episcopal Church of the Nativity on Holly Lane and tickets
are $10 per person.
The Gardens
Tour will be from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 3rd and from 1:00
PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, May 4th. Tickets are $10 per person
through May 2nd and $15 on tour days. Tickets are valid for both days.
Children age 12 and under are admitted free.
